What is the Adult Survivors Act?
It was a one-year lookback window (closed in November 2023) that allowed adult survivors to file civil claims no matter when the assault occurred. However, you may still have a case depending on your circumstances — especially if the assault was recent or ongoing.
Will I have to testify in court?
